The TONIC corten steel planter gives gardens a powerful and warm appearance. This is due to the orange-brown color of the material which forms through a natural rust layer. Another name for corten steel is weather-resistant steel as weather conditions have a positive impact on this planter.
Corten steel is a metal alloy consisting of iron, to which copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel and chromium have been added. When exposed to the outdoor air, the material is covered with a protective rust layer. This natural rust layer provides protection against further corrosion. As a result, the planter has a long lifespan.
