How can we integrate our fascination with traditional mechanics and craft tools into cutting-edge design? This was the inspiration behind Tonone, a lighting brand known for incorporating characteristic construction tools both visually and functionally into its innovative product designs.

The design team is dedicated to applying traditional craft tools and mechanics to innovative lighting design. Tonone's signature is still evident in every subsequent step of its lighting design.

Tonone was founded in 2013 by designer Anton de Groof and is based in the Netherlands. They collaborate with local artisans in the production of their products. Sustainability, efficiency and logistics are considered throughout the product's life cycle during the design and manufacturing process.
