These design tiles is partially based on traditional patterns and some are inspired by modern design. 'Ethnic Vintage' 'cement tiles, we say. In hundreds of colors. Handmade in the traditional way with organic ingredients. There are also Moroccan zelliges and Spanish tiles and floor tiles.
Mostly used as floortile but also applicable as walltiles. Excellent with underfloor heating.

Cement tiles are dry-pressed and raw materials are cement, silica sand, marble flour, various color pigments and water. In contrast to many other tiles, these tiles are not burned cement plates and not treated in an oven. They get their strength by being squeezed in a hydraulic press with high pressure and then slowly allowed to dry.
The plates are known as well cement slabs, Portuguese & Moroccan Encaustic cement tiels or plates.
