Accoya, the wood species chosen for EDARO, is known for its exceptional durability and stability. The wood is produced through an advanced wood preservation process called acetylation, where the wood cells are modified to make them resistant to external influences such as moisture, fungi and insects. This makes Accoya an excellent choice for outdoor applications such as street lighting, where long-term performance and weather resistance are essential.
